I’m Mat. I want to tell you a story.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve needed context cues. Something small to trigger my memory & once it hits, boom I can talk endlessly. I have the seemingly trendy , ADD

As a kid, I would have said ADHD. The hyper part faded. The rest stayed.

This way of thinking makes some things hard. The world rewards a narrow band of traits. The ones that fit into neat boxes.

Live coding interviews? I look like an idiot. My mind blanks. Easy questions feel impossible under pressure.

I’ve bombed interviews. Not because I didn’t know the answer, but because I couldn’t get there fast enough. I looked lost. I wasn’t.

I process information differently than the majority of my programming peers.

A few years ago, I found a trick. I started taking notes. Obsessively. I slowed down, wrote out my thoughts, worked through things step by step.

It changed how people saw me.

Before: scattered.
After: sharp.

Then ChatGPT showed up.

At first, it helped. But soon, people assumed I was just feeding it prompts. They stopped seeing me. Thought I was cheating.

So back to square one for me.

I asked myself a new question:
What if I could build a better memory? One that never forgets the thread. One that keeps all the context readily available for me to tap into.

That’s where Audetic came from.

It’s not a side project. It’s the thing I think about when I wake up. The thing I dream about when I sleep. I need this!

I’m building a system that turns the way my brain works into a strength. That turns noise into structure. That makes memory sharp, fast, alive.

We forget 80% of what we learn in two days. That’s the truth. Ideas fade. Details vanish.

Audetic is how I augment my mind

It’s not just for me. It’s for anyone who thinks differently. Who needs context clues for memory recall. Whose brain is a non linear matrix. Powerful at creative problem solving, but chokes on memory recall.

Let’s build a future where no idea is lost & your memory becomes super human.
